Fire and Gold is an image that comes from the pure magic that a day of sailing can provide. The stylized presentation plays off the vivid colors that actually happen at separate times of day: the vivid gold of the sun at noon, the deep blue of the water at dusk, the fiery sky at sunset. Some might wonder, does the gold color rising up the sails reflect the cost of running a sailboat? Heaven forbid I should think such a thing.

In this detail of the masthead, the swirling lines of the yacht are actually small masses and strings of pixilated color that trace back to the actual form of the boat, but take on a life of their own in the transformation process.
